  7. Well, this is a fine sportsgame. It is
  8. about American Football. At first, one
  9. can  say, that the title  song and GFX
  10. are good, but in  sportsgames, most of
  11. the motivation  depends  on technique.
  12. The  graphics is quite  neat in  this,
  13. game and also the soundfx are not bad.
  14. Here, you  can  choose the players and
  15. go on the playfield and do some really
  16. practical work. But the control of the
  17. players and of the rest is not so easy
  18. and in my opinion it works a bit slow.
  19. This is  a problem and  so, motivation
  20. decreases. Anyway, as this idea hasn't
  21. been realized on Amiga often, the game
  22. will  probably animate you to play for

  30. FOOTBALL DIRECTOR II:
  31. This is no  shoot'em up, but a sports-
  32. game like FOOTBALL MANAGER on 64. Here
  33. you can  do far  more things. The menu
  34. is  'overcrowded' with  all  kinds  of
  35. different  types of  things you can do
  36. for the club. As I don't  want to tell
  37. you all the  functions, you have to do
  38. it on your own.
  39. The most important disadvantage of the
  40. game  is, that  it was all  written in
  41. BASIC!!!! Therefore, the  game is slow
  42. and  the playability is not very high.
  43. You even have to wait a big while till
  44. the game is fully loaded. It  also got
  45. some graphics,which you can switch off
  46. easily. Otherwise, you  would  have to
  47. wait another  minute till the pics are
  48. loaded. I don't know who did this fine
  49. (?) work,but probably no professional.
  50. If it  wouldn't be that slow, it would
